SARA O'CONNOR

CEO: CONTENT EDITOR AND MARKETING SPECIALIST

 

With more than 8 years experience, Sara is a highly effective team player, leader, editor, communicator and communications advocate. Some of her skills include talent development, sales and marketing, implementing effective communication practices, social media marketing/management, personal brand development and script/manuscript coverage.

She earned a Bachelors Degree in Pre-Law and a Masters Degree in Corporate Communications from Northeastern University. She is working on her manuscript thesis toward an  MFA in Creative writing, but she claims to have learned the most from reading.

 

Currently she is the CEO and Managing editor for Gliterary Girl, a female focused online literary magazine and brand consultant to several online businesses. She has also published more than 75 book reviews and articles on writing and technique and worked for years in film production.

WENDY COTTAM

PROOFREADER; EDITOR & AUTHOR COACH

Wendy's impressive resume spans over 30 years, where she worked in education and as a reading specialist for private interest groups, school systems and some of the largest publishing houses in the world. Recently retired from her position with Scholastic Books, she decided her skills were better served working with writers. ​Her articles are published in several large publications and her list of honors is astounding. Sample:

AMY KEEN
PUBLIC RELATIONS CONSULTANT

Amy has worked in PR for more than eight years across a wealth of sectors including manufacturing, utilities, arts and tourism, house building and much more. Some of her specialties include:

 

- Online Literature
- Website copy
- Press campaigns (including one off projects)
- Event publicity

She earned her Bachelors Degree in Journalism from the University of Lincoln, UK and her YA paranormal book, Embers was published October 2012 by Fisher King Publishing.

NED HICKSON
AUTHOR COACH

An award-winning editor and humor columnist for the Siuslaw News, Ned won “Best Local Column” from both the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association and the Society of Professional Journalists and in 2002, took his self-syndicated column online to newspapers. By 2003, he became a member of the National Society of Newspaper Columnists.

 

Currently, his weekly column appears in dozens of newspapers in the U.S. and Canada. As a syndicated columnist for News Media Corporation. His first book, “Finding Humor at the Speed of Life,” will be released in October from Port Hole Books. He also teaches writing part time at a local community college.
